One-off Nissan Rogue Trail Warrior ready for the outdoors

The 2017 New York International Auto Show will see Nissan not only launch the 370Z Heritage Edition. Also set to make its public debut during the annual auto show is the Rogue Trail Warrior one-off. Billed by Nissan as 'family adventure ready', the custom Rogue gets a set of tracks along with a plethora of upgrades.

Gone are the wheels and tires as the Rogue Trail Warrior now has snow/sand Dominator tracks from American Track Truck Inc. They measure 1219mm long, 381mm wide and 762mm tall. Nissan then modified the suspension and wheel wells of the Rogue in order for the tracks to fit within the chassis.

Providing power is the same 2.5-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine that puts out 171 PS at 6000 rpm and 233 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. The Xtronic continuously varianble transmisssion (CVT) and all-wheel-drive system have been retained as well which works with the track system.

Apart from the new tracks, the Rouge Trail Warrior one-off also gets some extra equipment. It gets tinted headlights, custom fender flares, a bespoke camouflage body wrap, roof-mounted LED light bar, front-mounted power winch and an ARB gear basket.

“This new Rogue Trail Warrior adds a new dimension to family adventures with its snow/sand tracks, gear basket, winch and camo paint. If you want to stand out from the crowd during a day on the slopes or the beach, this is the vehicle to take,” said Michaeul Bunce, vice president in product planning, Nissan North America Inc.
