The new generation Nissans Frontier are equipped with new engine and sporty design concept
Nissan has presented the Frontier Diesel Runner Powered by Cummins at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show.
The Frontier Diesel Runner was revealed by Fred Diaz, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Parts & Service, U.S.A, Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) at a press conference and will only be on display during the duration of the 2014 Chicago Auto Show (February 8 – 17).
The exterior of Frontier Diesel Runner has an aerodynamic full-bed tonneau cover and tailgate spoiler. Adding to its design is a carbon film-coated features such as the chin spoiler, mesh grille, and a roof rack. It is also designed with a transparent acrylic hood insert that can serve as a window to the engine bay. The Frontier Diesel Runner has an “Arrest Me Red” and Matte Silver paint finish. The Frontier Diesel Runner is equipped with 16-inch wheels.
On the interior, the front and rear seats are designed with carbon-print leather with grey accent stitching and black-on-black "Tracks" embroidery.
The Frontier Diesel Runner is powered by Cummins with a 2.8-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine producing nearly 203 PS and more than 474 Newton-meters of torque. Power is transmitted via a ZF 8HP70 8-speed automatic transmission.
