First previewed during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show
Opel is set to debut the production model of Adam S at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October. The said model was first previewed by Opel during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show last March.
The automaker says the Adam S model is equipped with front lip spoiler, side sill moldings and an extended rear bumper that is infused with an exhaust tailpipe. The vehicle also has a rear spoiler, a special Adam S logo placed on the C pillars and LED daytime running lights and taillights. There will be a total of ten body paint choices and four roof combinations that will available with 'Red 'n' Roll' roof design.
Inside, Opel says the interior of the Adam S refelects the 'Red 'n' Roll' design with the optional leather package including black and red steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake. White lighting is incorporated for the instrument panels and doors. It also features Recaro Performance seats in Morrocan or nappa leather.
The Opel Adam S comes with electronic climate control, IntelliLink system, infotainment system that is fully compatible with latest smartphones and a 7-inch high-definition touchscreen.
It is powered by a 1.4-liter Turbo ECOTEC engine that delivers 150 PS and 220 Nm of torque. The Adam S can go from 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds with a top speed of 200 km/h and the engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
