Toyota Motors Philippines Inc. (TMP) has recently revealed that they will bring the Fun-Vii concept car at the 5th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) scheduled for September 18-21, 2014.
The concept car made its first public appearance during the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show under the company's theme of "Fun To Drive, Again." The Fun-Vii is able to change its exterior and interior appearance depending on the wants or needs of the driver and passengers. It is even capable of being used as a mobile display, showing images and texts that the user wants to convey.
Inside, the car's interior can be changed as well. Navigational info is relayed onto the driver via augmented reality while the car's 'concierge' can provide driving information and guidance through a vocal interface. A network update function has been integrated into the car so software for the Fun-Vii's vehicle drive control and multimedia system are always up-to-date. Finally, the car can link up with other surrounding cars or buildings, enabling it to spot potential hazards or contact with friends who may be nearby.
