Combines the elements of an MPV and crossover
After making its world debut at the 2016 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), the Philippines will get a chance to take a closer look of the Mitsubishi XM MPV-Crossover Concept. From September 14 – 18, Mitsubishi will be displaying the all-new concept at this year's Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).
From its namesake, the XM concept blends crossover functionality with MPV cabin space. According to the automaker, it is slightly wider and taller than most MPVs. This allows the XM-MPV to have better interior space and ground clearance.
Up front, the concept sports the brand's Dynamic Shield that is paired to aggressive headlights, black grill and large foglights. At the back, the concept gets L-shaped LED taillights, a unique tailgate and a roof-mounted spoiler.
The cabin gets a white interior that is accented by gray trim pieces and splashes of metal décor. In terms of equipment, it features a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel, automatic climate control and a glass roof as such.
The production version of Mitsubishi's latest concept is expected to arrive in late 2017.
