Expanding the spice rack
At a recent meeting by the Supervisory Board of Porsche AG, the German sportscar manufacturer has announced a new model in the works. The new model, with the working name "Cajun", will be a premium compact SUV that will slot under the Cayenne and compete with models such as the BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Mercedes-Benz GLK.
The Cayenne is one of the most successful models in the Porsche line, and the Board of Porsche decided to broaden the range of the company, and thus came up with the Cajun SUV to attract younger customers into the premium brand.
We certainly await what the Cajun will look like and, more importantly, drive like.
