Limpert moving from Eastern and Northern Europe to Asia Pacific region
Singapore-based Porsche Asia Pacific has appointed Martin Limpert as its new Managing Director, effective from March 1, 2014. The German executive will be responsible to manage the importer network in thirteen markets across the region, including the Philippines.
Limpert has spent the last ten years at Porsche AG with extensive experience in Marketing and Sales. He is currently in charge of the Eastern and Northern Europe area. Limpert succeeds Christer Ekberg, who has been reassigned to Porsche Middle East, a subsidiary responsible for the importer and dealer network in the Middle East, Levant, Africa and India.
“Martin Limpert brings to Porsche Asia Pacific great experience at importer level of the luxury car business in Europe; his knowledge and proven skills are exactly what Porsche needs as it continues its growth in Asia Pacific, which will accelerate in 2014 with the introduction of the new sporty compact SUV, the Macan,” says Helmut Broeker, Vice President of Porsche Region Overseas and Emerging Markets.
