Renault’s Trophy edition just got more exclusive with the Mégane R.S. 275 that now comes with technical enhancements and customizable features.
As a standard, the Mégane R.S. 275 Trophy comes with limited slip differential to live up to its celebrated on-road and track performance.
Renault Sport’s engineers have now been able to get 10 more horsepower from the two-litre petrol engine to bring it to 275hp at 5,500rpm with maximum torque of 360Nm between 3,000 to 5,000rpm.
Even with the heightened performance, the Mégane R.S. 275 Trophy fuel consumption is at 7.5 litres/100km and emissions of 174g of CO2/km.
Partnering with Akrapovič, the Mégane R.S. 275 Trophy sports a titanium exhaust system that delivers an audial appeal that racing and motorsports enthusiasts with surely appreciate.
Renault Sport also tapped the world-famous damper manufacturer, Öhlins. Under this collaboration, there will be an option to install adjustable Öhlins Road & Track dampers with steel springs.
Also an option are Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires that were developed in cooperation with Renault Sport specifically for this vehicle and 19-inch black Speedline Turini.
To assure owners of exclusivity, the Mégane R.S. 275 Trophy will come with branding on the Platine Grey F1-type front blade and the personalised body sides. Platine Grey has also been selected for the chequered flag graphic at the bottom of the doors while the door sills will be numbered indicating its limited production number.
The interior will also be special with leather and Alcantara Recaro bucket seats with visible red stitching that can be found on the rear seats, hand brake, gear lever knob and steering wheel as well. Head rests will feature Renault Sport badging.
