LTO says license plates delay caused by disgruntled employees
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has now resorted to pointing fingers as it continues to sort out the problems causing the lengthy delay in the issuance of new license plates.
According to LTO Spokesperson Jason Salvador, some employees are exacting revenge at management for implementing reforms by delaying orders of new license plates.
''We've tried to streamline our processes. We've tried to eliminate things that are not necessary so that we can serve the public better but in this process a lot of people got hurt, that's why they're trying to get back at us,'' Salvador told ABS-CBN News Channel’s Headstart.
Salvador specifically cited ‘sabotage’ but also acknowledged that there are problems.
''There is some sabotage, but of course there are some other problems,” added Salvador.
