The C7 Corvette's notable features are its hood and hexagonal taillights
Chevrolet's next-generation cars will have styling elements from the brand's current C7 Corvette as a way to leverage on exterior design as a competitive edge.
According to General Motors Global Design Boss Edward T. Welburn Jr., some of the most notable exterior elements of the C7 Corvette are its hood and the hexagonal taillights which reportedly did not sit well to some Corvette loyalists. Welbrun also added that some of the brand's next-generation cars will debut next year and will feature styling cues from the C7 Corvette.
"As Malibu and Cruze and Volt come to market, you'll be able to see a subtle link between some of the form vocabulary for all of them and Corvette," Welburn said.
As for the hexagonal taillights that got mixed reactions, Welburn simply stated that it will be hinted in all other Chevrolet cars in a very positive way.
