Rezvani Motors introduces the entry-level Beast Speedster
After debuting the fire-breathing 507 PS Beast last May 2014, California-based speciality brand Rezvani recently unveiled the Beast Speedster. Essentially a lesser variant of the original Beast, the Speedster retains the distinct exterior design while employing a leather-clad interior.
The Ariel Atom-based open-top car still features the frameless windscreen along with the slender headlights, muscular body fenders, sharp side profile, large 19-inch PUR RS05 alloy wheels, sleek taillights and the overly-large rear diffuser.
The black interior largely carries over but now features leather padding on the carbon fiber seats, steering wheel and shifter.
Powering the Beast Speedster is a 2.4-liter supercharged engine that has been detuned to 304 PS instead of the standard 507 PS. Even with its significant decrease in power, the open-top car is still capable of going from 0 – 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds according to Rezvani.
It currently retails for $139,000 (about PhP 6.5 million) and will soon be joined by another variant which will be announced later this year.
