Limited-run Ghost gets 601 PS and new 21-inch 5-spoke wheels

Goodwood-based luxury carmaker Rolls-Royce is introducing the limited-edition Ghost V-Specification at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The special model has been fully revealed in photos and details on its website and will be available for both standard and extended wheelbase versions. The special model was released to commemorate the brand's successful performance in 2013 selling 3,650 cars.

On the outside, a hand-painted coachline featuring the V-Specification badge sets the car apart from a standard Ghost. Graphite, Black Sapphire, Black Kirsch, Arctic White and Infinity Black are offered as color choices, however the buyer can also choose from any color of their choice from the Rolls-Royce palette. The standard wheelbase also gets new 21-inch 5-spoke ‘part-polished’ wheels.

The interior gets contrast piping and stitching highlighted by a V-Specification logo embroidered onto the rear armrest. Another V-Specification stainless steel plate covers the entertainment system display and exclusive clock, and special treadplates futher differentiate the car from the standard trim.

The most significant change would be an uprated twin-turbo 6.6-liter V12 engine from 570 PS to 601 PS, owing tuning lessons to the Wraith fastback which features the same base engine but outputs a maximum of 633 PS.

Rolls-Royce calls their engineering nothing short of extraordinary and we couldn’t agree with them more after our recent experience with the Ghost Extended Wheelbase. The Ghost V-Specification configurator is already up on their website, so you can virtually configure your own car as you wish.
