The peerless motor car

At a ceremony last night at Bonifacio Global City, Rolls-Royce Manila has officially been inaugurated by RR Manila executives led by Autohub Group President Mr. Willy Tee Ten, with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars CEO Mr. Torsten Muller-Otvos as the guest of honor.

“We have opened our first operational space where our customers can design their own, unique Rolls-Royce motor car,” said Willy Tee-Ten, RR Manila President. “Commissioning a Rolls-Royce takes time and consideration and we're pleased to have this space to engage with our customers. I'm delighted that the global team of directors from the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood in Great Britain flew to Manila specially to celebrate this occasion with us.”

The new facility is an interim Rolls-Royce Manila until the permanent dealership is finished in the near future. On hand for the inauguration night is a Rolls-Royce Phantom, representing the flagship of automobile luxury from Rolls-Royce, heading up the line consisting of the Ghost, Phantom Drophead Coupe and later on, the Wraith.

His first time in Manila, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars CEO Mr. Torsten Muller-Otvos is joined by the senior management of their global and regional operations with  Jolyon Nash (Director of Sales and Marketing), Richard Carter (Director of Global Communications),  Paul Harris (Regional Director for Asia Pacific) and  Herfried Hasenoehrl (GM for Emerging Markets – Asia). Welcoming the RR team is Mr. Willy Tee Ten (RR Manila President), Michael Cua (RR Manila SVP) and Ryan Watson (RR Manila General Manager.

“I am delighted to celebrate the inauguration of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manila in person. The arrival of Rolls-Royce in the Philippines signifies our belief in this country's economy and demonstrates the desire from our discerning customers in this region for the ultimate in super-luxury,” said Muller-Otvos. “Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has been well received since the dealership appointment in June and we are pleased to display in the new facility the first Phanton Series II Extended Wheelbase in the country.”

The arrival of Rolls-Royce Manila marks the expansion plan of the Rolls-Royce brand in Asia Pacific. RR recently inaugurated dealerships in Osaka (Japan), Taichung (Taiwan), Hanoi (Vietnam) and a boutique dealership in Bangkok (Thailand).

At the inauguration of Rolls-Royce Manila, Muller-Otvos presented Tee-Ten with the CEO's Spirit of Ecstasy.
