Based on the standard Hyundai HB20
Hyundai has revealed the HB20 R-Spec concept during the 2014 Sao Paulo International Motor Show.
Developed by South Korean designers, the concept car was based on the standard HB20 which is locally marketed in Brazil.
The HB20 R-Spec concept features an aggressive front design with large hexagonal grill, LED daytime running lights and air intakes. The concept car is also equipped with LED tailights and dual chrome exhaust pipes.
The HB20 R-Spec is finished off in matte blue exterior paint and sits on 17-inch alloy wheels. It also comes with Brembo brakes for better stopping power. Inside, the HB20 R-Spec has sports leather seats with blue stitching.
As of this writing, Hyundai has not yet released the powertrain details of the HB20 R-Spec concept. Moreover, the Korean automaker is reportedly not planning to release the HB20 R-Spec to the market. But it could signal how the future designs of the HB20 might look like.
