The brand's trucks, buses and generators will soon be available locally

Swedish commercial vehicle manufacturer Scania recently appointed BJ Mercantile Inc. as the brand's official sales and services dealer in the country. The Scania's heavy-duty trucks, buses and generators will soon be available to the local market as well as Scania's quality service that is present in more than 100 countries for more than 100 years.

“Our partnership with BJ Mercantile, Inc. is testament to Scania’s long-term commitment to the Philippines. We are here for the long-haul and our main objective is to offer total solutions that enhance customer profitability by means of high earning capacity and low operating cost, while promoting sustainability," said James Armstrong, Managing Director Scania of Southeast Asia.

In addition, BJ Mercantile Inc. has made a name for itself over the last 40 years as one of the country's top engine and truck distributors.

“We are very honored with the appointment and we have begun work in earnest to ensure everything is in place when we launch our showroom on February 2015,” said Leilani Lim-Tan, BJ Mercantile, Inc.

The showroom will be located at 1132 EDSA Balintawak, Quezon City.
