Baojun 560 debuts at the 2015 Auto Shanghai
The Baojun 560 has made its world debut at the 2015 Auto Shanghai. The said model was developed by SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) and it is aimed at “those who want a functional vehicle for their personal and professional lives.”
The Baojun 560 is set to become SGMW's first crossover model. In terms of exterior styling, the company said that the vehicle is based on the “trendy, grand and strong” design language. It measures 4620mm long, 1820mm wide and 1750mm tall with a wheelbase of 2750mm.
Up front, the Baojun 560 has a U-shaped mesh grill along with a large bumper that houses the vehicle's fog lamps and air intakes. It also has blacked-out LED headlights and a sculpted hood.
The rear of the Baojun 560 is fitted with distinctive taillights and a roof-mounted spoiler. The vehicle also comes with reflector lights, roof rails and a shark fin antenna.
The interior of the Baojun 560 features an 8-inch LCD infrared touchscreen as well as seats in black and brown tones. It also comes with a push button start, a multifunction steering wheel and a six-way power adjustable driver’s seat. In addition, the rear seats can be folded in a 60/40 split configuration.
Powering the Baojun 560 is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 137 PS and 186 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
