The latest batch of scholars will join 127 PTRCA graduates deployed in Porsche Centers globally

Another batch of Filipino scholars will be given a brand new opportunity by being certified Porsche Mechatronics personnel. The sixteen students of the Porsche Training and Recruitment Center Asia (PTRCA) will have their commencement exercises on August 31, 2013. The batch was carefully selected by Porsche officials and had undergone complete training to prepare them for their upcoming roles in Porsche.

PTRCA graduates are deployed globally in different Porsche Centers such as those in the Middle East, Latin America and Southeast Asia. This exposes the Filipinos to the global working environment of Porsche.

The institution was established in April 2008 as the first Porsche technical training facility outside of Germany. The venture involves Porsche, PGA Cars (the local Porsche distributor) and Don Bosco Technical Institute. The program provides technical training complete with Porsche training vehicles and special tools, English language training, financial support, and employment to underprivileged but deserving Filipino youth.
