We measure up the 2015 Mitsubishi Strada against other pickups in the market

2015 will come to be known as the year of the pick up truck with many new models set to arrive in the market, and the new generation  2015 Mitsubishi Strada is the next one to step up to the plate. Let's see how it sizes up against its rival models.

The completely redesigned all-new 2015 Strada is now larger overall. It has been stretched 165mm longer and 15mm wider. The only things unchanged with the all-new pickup are its height and wheelbase.

The all-new Strada seats 5 like most double-cab pickups but according to our first drive of the new pickup in Japan, it has a fully revised interior. The range topping model features a more premium feel and is fitted with soft-touch materials, piano black panels, silver trim accents and perforated leather for the seats.

Powering the all-new Strada will be a pair of carried over 2.5-liter turbo diesel engines that each produce 128 PS with 194 Nm of torque and 178 PS with 400 Nm of torque.

Official pricing of the 2015 Strada is yet to be released by Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC).
