Set to debut in 2016 Geneva Motor Show

Porsche's sedan is slated for an all-new model this year and spy photographers have snapped the second generation model without most of its camouflage. Seen here is the 2017 Panamera that -according to our spy photographers- is almost fully revealed.

Panamera testing

The car was spotted in Southern Europe and is currently undergoing last-minute warm weather testing. Only photo-realistic stickers on the headlights and tail lights remain to disguise the complete look of the 2017 Panamera. Styling is an evolutionary change from the current model meaning the coupe-like profile remains and so does the signature shape of Porsche headlights. The pillarless doors are also return for the second-generation model. The bumpers are also new for the all-new Panamera although expect different styles in different variants. A pair of intercoolers peeking out from the side air intakes hints at turbocharged engines.

New Panamera rear

While the car looks relatively unchanged from the outside, the platform is all-new. Now riding on the MSB platform, it is said that will also form the basis for the next-generation Bentley Continental. Porsche engineers claim the new architecture is lighter than the outgoing model by over 90 kilograms. As for powertrains, Porsche has yet to announce the lineup but expect a range of turbocharged diesels, gas and hybrid engines with V6 or V8 power. A wagon version will join the Panamera range after the 4-door's public debut which is slated for this year's Paris Motor Show.
