Alleged spy photo of the updated LC200 surfaces on the web
Toyota will indeed release an updated Land Cruiser as a spy photo of the 2016 facelift was recently posted on the web.
If the image is to be believed, the updated LC200 will still relatively resemble the pre-facelift version though it gets a chunkier front end with added chrome trim. The grill now features a hexagonal shape and appears to integrate with the headlights as a form of décor.
The headlights also get new projectors while the integrated LED daytime running lights have been retained. A new set of foglights and additional brightwork at the front bumper complete the restyling of the front end.
The rear end on the other hand appears to have been carried over from the pre-faclift version though it gets updated taillights. Images of the interior were not found though we previously reported about the leaked brochure of the 2016 LC200 last June which revealed that the SUV will be getting new features along with other optional extras.
There is no exact date yet on when will Toyota reveal the updated Land Cruiser.
