Alleged camouflaged spy shots of the 2016 Honda Civic surface online
As the eventual launch of the 2016 Honda Civic draws nearer, several spy photos of what appears to be the next-generation compact car were recently uploaded to the web.
If the images were to be believed, the tenth-generation Civic seemed to have retained the swept-up headlights though with the camouflage wrapping, it is hard to tell what other details did the automaker did for the front fascia.
Over to the side, it gets wider wheel arches and what looks to be a new rear quarter window though Honda also kept it under wraps.
The rear also gets a redesign as the 2016 Civic gets a new trunk, updated taillights and a more conservative rear bumper.
As far as powertrain is concerned, American Honda Motor Co. Executive Vice President John Mendel previously stated that the new-generation Civic will indeed be available with an Earth Dreams 1.5-liter inline-four VTEC turbocharged engine. It can be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a sporty yet efficient CVT.
The 2016 Honda Civic is slated to have its debut later this year.
