Joint-developed BMW Z4 successor caught testing
If you're a fan of BMW sports cars, then here is one car to be excited about, as our spies captured images of the succesor of the BMW Z4.
Our sources say that the Z4's successor will likely be called the Z5, and is part of the joint BMW and Toyota project to co-develop rear-wheel drive sports cars; the Japanese counterpart of which will likely be the new Supra.
Based on the images, the Z5 will be getting a canvas roof instead of a power retractable hard top in order to keep the weight down and improve overall handling and cornering.
It is expected that the Z4's successor will come with four-cylinder and six-cylinder powerplants, and is expected to be slated for a late 2017 or early 2018 release.
