Changes to the coupe bring it closer to GTS trim
Following the original BMW M3's facelift spotted last year, its coupe counterpart was recently spotted with chunks of camouflage hiding very minor changes to the flagship M model.
The refreshed M4, as can be seen from photos, only receives very subtle changes in terms of overall aesthetic. Perhaps what can be instantly recognized are the new headlamps, with supposedly new tail lamps accompanying it to refresh the rear end. As for the front fascia, the new lower splitter appears to take after the BMW M4 GTS, the model's halo car for the M lineup. As can be seen in the photos, the prototype that was spotted is also sporting wheels found on the GTS.
Sources indicate that the interior may receive minor changes as well, considering the fact that the dashboard had several pieces of trim covered in camo.
As with the facelifted BMW M3, expect no changes to be made to the M4's powertrain.
