Next Black Series Wagon may pack over 650 PS
An all-new Black Series from Mercedes-AMG may soon be rolling onto the streets after our spy photographers managed to catch a glimpse of a prototype E63 Black Series .
Set to pack more power than the E63 S, the prototype gets slight tweaks on its exterior, including the addition of a new diamond-shaped radiator grill commonly found in Mercedes-AMG vehicles. An array of panels also cover the front end of the upcoming high-performance wagon, signaling that it may get a reworked front fascia.
Apparent on the prototype Black Series E63 AMG Wagon however, are the extended fender flares, indicating it may have a wider track than the standard model AMG model.
In terms of power, expect the wagon to be driven by Mercedes-AMG's familiar twin-turbo V8. For its application in the Black Series, Mercedes-AMG may tune the engine to produce more than 650 PS, making it more powerful than the E63 S. Aside from the boost in power, the prototype also gets new bigger brakes and a quad exhaust system.
