Porsche Panamera Turismo Sport may be made reality at Geneva International Motor Show
The last time we heard the Panamera Turismo Sport was way back in 2012 when Porsche unveiled a concept car bearing its name. Now it looks like the Stuttgart-based automaker will finally make a production version of the concept just in time for the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show.
According to our insiders, it may be the Shooting Brake or Wagon version of the all-new Panamera. This particular prototype captured by our spy photographers appears to be the hybrid version as it gets the telltale lime green brake calipers and additional 'fuel cap' on the driver's side which serves as the charger's socket.
While the front fascia looks similar to the new-generation model, the rear looks very different. Porsche appears to be using fake panels and faux taillights to throw off our spies. But it is more likely that Porsche is finishing up the final design of the Turismo Sport for the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show.
All in all, the prototype Turismo Sport gets styling cues from the original concept. These include the quad exhaust pipes, rear spoiler design and quarter panel finish.
Engine lineup for the Panamera Turismo Sport will likely be the same as with the standard model.
