Palm Challenge Philippine Face-Off will start in August 8

The Subaru Palm Challenge Philippine Face-Off is back to search 10 individuals to represent the country in the 2015 Subaru Challenge in Singapore.

The Subaru Palm Challenge is an endurance contest that was first held in Singapore last 2002. In the Palm Challenge, participants are required to place their palm on a specific area of the car and the last person standing will win the competition.

Last year's grand winner was G. Jaishanker from Singapore who recorded the longest time of 82 hours and 16 minutes, surpassing the other 400 participants from Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Singapore.

Subaru is inviting everyone to take part in one of three legs:

(1) August 8, 2015 – Ayala Center Cebu, Cebu City

(2) August 15, 2015 – SM Lanang Premier, Davao City

(3) September 5, 2015 – Big Bear Oval, Bonifacio High Street, Taguig

Subaru says one winner each from Cebu and Davao will join the eight other winners from Manila to complete the set of Philippine representatives. These winners will receive an all-expense paid trip to Singapore and compete with 9 other Asian countries to battle out the grand prize of a brand new Subaru Forester 2.0i-L.

Contestants competing in Singapore also have the chance to win cash prizes for being the Country Winner (awarded to the last person standing from each country), Asian Winner (the last person standing from all regional countries except Singapore) and a Country Team prize for the longest surviving country (calculated by adding all the individual team members’ times together).

Interested individuals must be 18 years old as of this year, a Filipino passport holder and in good health condition.
