Now sporting a more pleasant design
Maruti Suzuki has introduced the latest addition to its Alto family, the Alto 800 in India. The refreshed Alto model now features a 'wavefront' design that has a sloping window lines, 'swaying roof' and a redesigned rear door. Both the head and tail lamps are also replaced
The new Alto 800 is said to be 15% more fuel efficient than the model it replaced and is powered by an 800cc three-cylinder engine with an output of 48 PS at 6,000 rpm and 69 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm.
The interior now has utility spaces both on the dashboard and the center console, the three-spoke steering wheel was also redesigned with silver accents.
There is no news yet of the new Alto 800's availability in the Philippines although there is a high possibility of it since some of the Suzuki vehicles in the Philippines is sourced through India.
