Pilipinas Taj Autogroup Inc. (PTAJ), the exclusive distributor of Tata Motors Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles in the country, recently inaugurated its new Davao dealership last December 18, 2014. Present during the opening ceremonies were PTAJ Chairman and President David Coyukiat, Head of International Business Commercial Vehicles R.T. Wasan, Indian Ambassador to the Philippines L.D. Ralte and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.

We are very pleased to see and feel the warm welcome of our world class passenger cars and commercial vehicles and more importantly the positive anticipation of the Tata Motors brand in the region through our partners at Davao Bonifacio Motors, Inc,” said Coyukiat.
Tata Motors Davao is located at Km. 9, Barrio Pampanga, Davao and is owned and operated by Davao Bonifacio Motors Inc. The company has been in the automotive business for 49 years and is led by its Chairman, Dr. Dave Ross F. Bonifacio. The facility employs 43 personnel, has a 5 car display showroom and a service area with 1,322 square meters of space that houses 5 work bays.

Besides the opening of Tata's latest dealership, PTAJ also turned over 120 Tata Ace Bata jeepneys to the Davao City Government. The 120 vehicles will then be used as Disaster Response Vehicles for the city of Davao.
