Autonomously driving Teslas will soon be the norm after company CEO Elon Musk tweeted that a software update will introduce the new Autopilot function to their entire lineup by Thursday.
This will allow such vehicles like the Model S, to drive itself to one's destination/s on certain roads or situations.
Aside from delivering a hassle-free driving experience, the update will also include Autopilot parking, the brand's version of park assist. Other details about the upcoming Version 7 update were not specified though it will also include a new look for the instrument panel and infotainment system.
In addition, Musk also said that the user interface will be overhauled when Version 7.1 comes out.
