Wheel and tire retailer opens in SM City North EDSA

TireDepot, a new store concept from Tiara Commercial and Industrial Corporation, distributor of Michelin and Kumho tires opened its doors recently at selected SM City malls. The stores feature a new way of buying wheels and tires for people who have an extremely busy schedule. The store will initially carry Michelin, Kumho and Yokohama tires; and Advanti Racing Wheels.

The most unique feature of TireDepot is the fully automated tire changer, which virtually makes changing tires with the tap of a few buttons. The machine features pneumatic rubber lined arms, which remove the use of tire tools that may scratch wheels. "Our automatic tire changer represents the new dimension in tire installation and service. It is both safer and more efficient. We invested in the machine to differentiate our service from mainstream tire shops," said Mr. Royce Ang of Tiara Commercial and Industrial Corporation.

Tires purchased from TireDepot are also filled with Nitrogen air. Nitrogen is a denser air compared to oxygen, which means the air molecules escape less. It is also moisture free, reducing steel belt and rubber degradation and also reduces valve and wheels corrosion. It is also non-flammable and prolongs tire life as the tires run cooler and require less maintenance.

"TireDepot in a nutshell offers worry-free efficient service, fixed competitive pricing and a courteous staff to assist you in your tire purchase," added Mr. Ang.

TireDepot is open in SM City North EDSA, SM City Batangas, and SM City Lucena; and will open in SM City Bicutan soon.
