Toyota Batangas Wins President's CS Cup of Excellence Award image

Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMPC) recently concluded their 2008 Dealer Conference in Marco Polo, Cebu City. The annual conference is held to honor the outstanding performance of their dealerships, including individual and collective dealer efforts for Sales, After-Sales and Customer Service Operations for the previous year. Toyota Batangas City (TBC) was awarded with the prestigious President's Customer Service Cup of Excellence while 10 dealerships from various parts of the country were awarded Outstanding Performers in Overall Dealer Operations for 2007.

The President's CS Cup of Excellence Award is given to the top dealer performer who achieved the target scores in the CS performance as well as the overall target score of 90% in the customer relations Toyota Dealer Success Program (TDSP). For 2007, Toyota Batangas City, represented by its chairman Jose C. Laurel V, president Francis C. Laurel, general manager Henry Pablo and customer relations manager Brenda Raule, received their 3rd President's CS Cup of Excellence Award. Toyota Batangas also captured the CS much-coveted award in 2004 and 2005, a proof of the dealership's consistent performance in the aspect of Customer Service.

Toyota's exceptional performance in 2007 is attributed to the hard work of its 26 dealerships nationwide. For the past year, however, 10 dealerships emerged as the best in the network. These dealers have achieved all departmental targets in Sales, After-Sales and Customer Satisfaction, and the 86% overall target for all aspects of dealer operations. For Metro Manila, Toyota's dealerships in Quezon Avenue, Cubao, Pasong Tamo, and Commonwealth made it to the prestigious awards. For Luzon dealerships, Toyota Cabanatuan, Dagupan and San Fernando likewise surpassed the targets. Finally for Visayas and Mindanao, Toyota Cebu, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro sealed the top 10.

Toyota also recognized their individual performers for 2007. Mr. Francis Teczon of Toyota Cubao was the Technician of the Year, Mr. Glenn Menendez of Toyota Manila Bay was the Best Service Advisor, Mr. Arnel Resplandor of Toyota Pasong Tamo was the Warranty Administrator Champion, Mr. Eric Centeno of Toyota Makati was Parts Marketing Professional, and Mr. Christian Lawrence Dizon of Toyota Cabanatuan City was the Sales Marketing Professional of the Year.

Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) and Toyota Motor Asia Pacific (TMAP) recognize TMPC's efforts and congratulate the top achievers of Team Toyota Philippines for 2007. In a statement, TMC Managing Officer and TMAP President Mr. Ryoichi Sasaki expressed, "Team Toyota's relentless efforts have enabled Toyota to attain the highest sales record in the Philippines' automotive history and 6 consecutive years triple crown, number one in Passenger car, commercial vehicles and overall sales. The impressive accomplishments have also helped the Toyota Group to achieve over 9 million of sales worldwide and the Number One Production Volume Position in the World."
