A new evolution of a legend
When Toyota unveiled the original FT-86 concept, enthusiasts the world over were excited for what would develop from it. At the upcoming 2011 Geneva motor show, Toyota is set to deliver on that promise with the 2nd version of the FT-86, with a clearer indication of what the shape of Japan's latest sports car.
The FT-86 revives the old 86 numerals from the original AE86, one of Japan's most popular sports cars, a car that built its reputation as a rear-wheel drive sports coupe/fastback with high tuner and performance potential.
The FT-86 II concept revives Toyota's sports car history, one that dates back more than 50 years.
