Ultima Sports unleashes the Evolution Coupe and Convertible
British sports car maker Ultima Sport has revealed the Evolution Coupe and Convertible which replaces the company's GTR and Can-Am models.
Accordring to Ultima Sports, the Evolution Coupe and Convertible have been “vastly improved and modernized.” It measures 4000mm long, 1850mm wide and 1070mm tall with a wheelbase of 2560mm. Ultima Sports adds that the vehile only weighs 950 kg.
The Ultima Evolution can be equipped with a Chevrolet LS V8 enigne that offers 15 different power outputs.
What's interesting is that the company says the top spec variant of the Evolution is powered by a 6.8-liter supercharged V8 engine producing 1,034 PS and 1,246 Nm of torque. With this, Ultima Sports claims that the vehicle can go from 0 to 97 km/h in just 2.3 seconds while the 0 to 161 km/h takes 4.9 seconds and 0 to 241 km/h in 8.9 seconds. Ultima Sports goes on by saying that the Evolution has a top speed of more than 386 km/h.
