Audi and Volkswagen to offer automated driving technology in the future
Volkswagen AG recently announced that they will be launching 50 new and updated models starting 2015.
While the company did not state when will they release the upcoming automobiles, among those that were already released by the company include the second-generation Audi Q7 and the all-new Volkswagen Touran.
Other nameplates mentioned by the auto giant include the Audi A4, the Porsche 911 and Boxster Spyder models, the Skoda Superb, the SEAT Ibiza and the Volkswagen Caddy and T6 light commercial vehicles.
In addition, Volkswagen Chairman Dr. Martin Winterkorn stated that the company plans to make internet connectivity standard on all their vehicles by 2020. Audi and Volkswagen on the other hand will be the first two brands from the company to offer automated driving technology in the near future.
