Waze 4.0 introduces a new streamlined version for easier navigation

The upgraded and streamlined version of Waze is now available in the App Store, offering a refreshed look, easier navigation, reduced battery consumption, and other improvements to further assist motorists on the road.

According to the brand, Waze version 4.0 is essentially the same application that motorists have come to know. The latest Waze upgrade has been streamlined to provide additional features such as the following:

The Waze map, menus and road reporting system are redesigned for better visibility, including less clutter on the map. It also comes with brighter buttons and color-coded pins per report type.

The new ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) panel can view reports, check alternate routes and add a stop on the way. Furthermore, you can now instantly send your ETA to friends and family with one tap.

Waze version 4.0 is also integrated with a new smart calendar feature which alert users about their upcoming schedules.

Lastly, the brand claims that the upgraded version of the app is designed to deliver “significantly reduced battery consumption.”

Waze version 4.0 is now available in the App Store while an Android release is coming soon.
