Subic's finest gather at Harbor Point
For the 4th year in a row, car enthusiasts from Subic, its neighboring towns and provinces gathered in full force at the Manila Parkwing of the Harbor Point Mall in Subic Bay. Hot cars, hot girls, good music and the hot sun welcomed showgoers and competitors alike in the afternoon 'til evening event.
The 4th Subic Bay Auto Show welcomed over two thousand visitors who enjoyed ogling at over 70 tricked out and restored cars. Competitor cars came from all over the Central Luzon region, Baguio, Metro Manila and even as far away as Laguna. Showing big support for the show this year was the Altis Club of the Philippines which held their annual fun run to join the Subic Bay Auto Show.
EMMA Philippines also held their 2013 Car Audio Competitors Challenge opener with cars coming from Metro Manila and all over Luzon to prove who has the clearest sounding mobile audio system.
Bagging big wins in the Street Class was Mark Gura with his 1997 Honda Civic Hatchback taking home the Best Japanese Car, Best Interior, Best Engine, Best in Paint, and the Best of Show awards. In the Pro Class, the 1968 Ford Mustang resto-mod by 96.7 KLITE bagged Best Old School Car, Best Detailed, Best Engine Display and Best of Show. Special awards given were the Sexiest Car Award which went to the Ronald Vibar's Mercedes-Benz CL500, the Altis Club was awarded Best Car Club for their outstanding support for the show, while Joyce Quizon and Nicole Genove shared the Best Carshow Babe award.

One of the unique attractions to the show was the hotdog eating contest sponsored by Hooters Philippines where contestants try to down as many hotdog sandwiches as they can without being distracted by the six Hooters girls. The event was finished off by an afterparty at the Lighthouse Marina Resort’s Bar 720, which combines a unique experience of partying by the poolside and inside a lighthouse. Partying with the car fans were models Bianca Peralta, Cyril Locsin and Mimai Ong.
