Celebrating the best of the Honda Jazz at FitFest 4
If one were to describe the Honda Jazz in three words, it would be dependable, reliable and practical. Sounds like every other B-segment hatchback out there then. And yet, for four years running, owners of this humble hatchback continue to flock to Megatent for FitFest - with this year being no exception.
With over 1,600 active members, this year's FitFest saw members from the northernmost and southernmost parts of Luzon join the grand get together. The bulk of the Jazzes on display were courtesy of Initial GD, representing the first generation, GE Garage for the second generation and GK Nation for the third generation. Other clubs were present too, with their respective members flaunting their dressed up Jazzes.
Of course, the event wasn't just about the Honda Jazz. There was also a strong showing from the Honda Mobilio Club of the Philippines and the two major Honda CR-V groups, a strong representation of the marque's long-running crossover and new MPV. Other Honda vehicles were more than welcome to join in on the program as well.
With the cars lined up by noon and with music pumping through the large stereos, the event started come alive. Despite the sweltering heat, Honda fans just kept pouring into Megatent, be it with a Jazz, Civic or even CR-Zs. As the show kept going, more Honda Jazz models just kept coming in. From showroom stock to track-spec, there was a wide variety of Honda's B-segment hatch for the showgoers to feast their eyes on. Needless to say, FitFest is also a place for Honda owners to to express themselves with their cars.
Given the lively environment, FitFest makes itself a venue for Honda fans to get to know their fellow enthusiasts as well. One could also buy parts for their Jazz with various shops with goodies and upgrades put up for sale. There were also raffle prizes up for grabs for those who stayed for the party. Celebrities Danita Paner and Daiana Meneses added to the fanfare.
With well over 1,000 people visiting FitFest 4, along with nearly 500 cars that took part in the show, this year's show is the biggest FitFest yet. As another FitFest closes, one can expect an even bigger show come FitFest 5.
