Lowering springs clearance

I recently bought a tanabe lowering springs for my 2000 civic vti. after it was installed, i have observe that the clearance on the front is bigger than it is at the rear. I was instructed by the
store where I bought my springs that the shorter springs will b instaled at the back and the longer
springs at the back. Is this really right? If it is, what would I do to correct it? Do I need to buy a new pair of shocks? Thank you! Your help would realy be appreciated! tnx agen

No! Never go back to that shop again. It is very stupid of them to make a suggestion like that. They obviously do not understand how springs work. The lowering springs you have purchased is for the application in a Civic equipped with a B16A engine. That is the reason for the front being a little higher than the rear. You might want to consider new springs for the correct application if it really bothers you. No, you need not replace the shocks.
