SAFC/VAFC Dilemma

Dear Gibs,

I own a 1994 Honda Civic ESi, I already made minor modifications such as; air filter, headers, piping and muffler. Now I would like to know if it is possible for me to install APEXi SAFC or VAFC? Honestly, I really don't know what their functions are, so would it be possible? Also can you at least provide me a brief backgroung regarding SAFC and VAFC.

Thank you and more power.

Dear 2-Line

Yes you can install an APEXi S-AFC in your car, but not the V-AFC since your engine does not have VTEC. The S-AFC is a piggyback electronic device which enables you to lean out or enrich your fuel mixture. You will need to have it dyno tuned to achieve best results and also have a safe tuning session to avoid damaging your engine.
