I own a 1996 Mazda 323, i have a problem that freaks me out. I cleaned the throttle body beacuse it had a lot of carbon deposits. When I put it back the engine began to change from its normal idle which is 800rpm to 1500rpm. But when I step on the clutch and and put on 1st gear it goes down to 1000rpm and when I put back to neutral it goes back to 1500rpm.
Please help me, I don't know what to do.

Dear Christian,
The problem is a leak in the gasket of the intake manifold and the TB you cleaned up. Get a new gasket and tighten it properly. Thanx for writing
