White smoke

I noticed a white smoke coming from my car's exhaust the last time we were in Tagaytay. We had I think a 1 1/2 hr lunch, so my car could have cooled down a bit and the white smoke could be because of the temperature we are in. Cooler and I assume more O2. So I could be running lean when the engine started. But once were out it was normal no smoke. Is this ok? white smoke means burning oil right? And I have an aftermarket airfilter with a homemade heat shield on my 4afe Corolla. thanks

Yes,white smoke is also a sign of burning oil which is also caused by having too much oil in the engine.

But since you mentioned that it only ocurred while you were in Tagaytay only, its just normal because of the difference in temperature.

Thanx for writing.
