Yes its safe and its probably the best investment you can make for your XL next to installing a 2E matic tranny. The PS conversion usualy cost around Php15000-20000 depending on the shop and condition of the unit youll buy especially if its brandnew or surplus. I suggest you canvass among the shops in banawe and check them out. If possible, get a referral that they have done and see it and inspect it and test drive it yourself. Most importantly, get a warranty, they might just be a fly by night shop that will take your money and go if something goes wrong after theyve installed it. A good 3 months is all it takes to be relaible.
