Gibs,
I’m having problems with the automatic transmission of my Nissan Cefiro (94 model). Can you recommend a reliable shop that can help me? Should I replace it with a new one or would a surplus one be more cost efficient?
Thanks.

Dear Paolo,
Unless your tranny is really shot and burned out beyond repair, that's the only time i recommend a repalcement. But finding a surplus unit can be a challenge moreover finding a good one can be a shot in the dark. The best place to bring it is in the casa as they have original parts and manuals to have it fixed. I don't recommend fly by night AT guys unless they give you a full warranty or money back. Thanx for writing.
