Lowering Springs

dear gibs,

Before, I cut my springs to make my car lowered. Now, I want to get lowering springs for my car. My question is, how about the suspension? Is it okay to retain my stock ones?

Simon Miranda

Dear Simon,

Using original lowering springs will be good for your looks and handling. Your lowered suspension won't be detrimental to your car. A good ride is 1.25 to 1.5-inches, anything lower than that, you might ruin the geometry of your camber, shock absorbers, alignment, tie rods and chassis. Thanx for writing.
