I have a Mitsubishi 2000 Supersport Adventure and its power steering seems to fail. When I drive for 30-40 minutes, the steering wheel becomes hard to turn. At start up everything is working well. I already brought it to a mechanic, they replaced the rack/pinion and power steering pump (repair kit only ) and flush the whole system but It does not solve the problem. They also replaced the sensor but it also does not solve the problem. Another technician told me to check the steering linkages and have it lubricated but as of now I`m still confuse if I have to replace the pump or have the linkages check. Please send me some suggestion regarding my problem.
Thanks.

Your Power Steering pump is most likely dirty. Replace the oil and clean the system and flush it well. When the oil heats up, the pressure falls down and the pump can't push the fluid through your rack or steering box. Flush it once or maybe twice. That should solve it. Thanx for writing.
