Kudos to a wonderful site! Finally a site for the Pinoy afficionado! Anyway, I was wondering where can i get a turbocharger for my hi-lux 2002 4X2 and how much would it set me back. I would also appreciate it if you can tell me where I can get custom graphics for my pick-up and accessories for it such as a roll-pan and a cowl-induction hood and maybe a custom interior package. The silent Toyota 2.4 Liter Diesel engine also comes with a turbo in Japan. But due to cost reasons and marketing pricing strategies, Toyota Phils. didn't bring it here. A Toyota CT20 turbocharger complete with exhaust manifold can be bought in a Banawe surplus store for around P8000. It's a bolt on affair and would need around P4000 for the labor and some welding charges to connect the turbo to the pipe. This kick ass system can easily outrun most 1.6 cars in the highway.
