Hi Mr. Gibs,
My problem is everytime I start the engine and step on the gas pedal, my car produces a gushing noise. I brought it to a nearby shop and they tightened the belt but after a few days the problem came back. Is it the timing belt that has the problem? How would I know? Please tell me the best thing to do. Tnx.

Dear Dennis,
That gushing sound can't be the timing belt because if there is something wrong with your timing belt, it would snap and your car wil stall instantly. That gushing sound could be traced to a worn out bbelt that needs to be replaced that is already glazed or too loose that has stretched through time and wear n' tear. Thanx 4 writing.
