89 Sentra overheating problem

Hi Mr. Gibs,

My 1989 Nissan Sentra has a problem of overheating. Usually, after driving for 20 mins and onwards, I always notice the abnormal rise of temperature reading up to 3/4 especially when caught in traffic. I already tried using coolant and bringing it to a radiator shop to have the old radiator
cleaned, but after just 4-5 days, the problem came back. What else should i do to solve this? Thank you very much.

Michael Pamfilo

Dear Michael,

You've been doing your homework, but you forgot to check the radiator fan. Due to the wear and tear of the fan, the blower speed might be too slow during 20 mins or so. Have it checked by a competent electrician. Thanx 4 writing.
