I've been browsing the previous post with regards to upgrading the Lancer GSR exhaust system to having 4-2-1 headers, and going 2 inches all the way. Does this same type of exhaust system apply to the the 2k1 Lancer GSR which has an INVECS II tranny? How about the muffler, what would be an ideal tip diameter for a more free-flowing exhaust? Like others who have sought your expertise, I'm am just a newbie :) Would adding an after-market air-filter also help? such as K&N? And my exhaust system comes with a catalytic converter, should it be removed? :D Thanks!

Like what I said, 4-2-1. Two inch all the way and muffler size 2 inch free flow. The tip is a matter of taste. You can use tabo from shoemart or Zigen na fake or the real evo6 muffler. Oooh very expensive. Thnx 4 writing.
