I have a van with a diesel engine. Is it true that putting fuel additives in the fuel tank can reduce, if not eliminate, black emissions?
Roland Villaluz
Dear Roland,
It's of little help that fuel additives can remove smoke. What you need is a calibration and a new set of nozzle tips. Worse, you may have to change piston rings if the gap is too loose causing the oil to blow by in the cylinders thus belch.
